Light bulb replacement

Light bulb replacement

If your light isn’t working, it may simply be a light bulb that needs replacing. You can do that by following these easy steps:

Steps to replacing an internal light bulb

  • Switch the light off at the wall by ensuring the switch is off.
  • Unscrew the light bowl that covers the bulb in a clockwise direction (right).
  • Gently push, turn, and clip out the bulb.
  • Know your wattage. Ensure you have a 7W LED clip-in light bulb for a clip-in socket. If you have a screw-in socket, then use a screw-in bulb.
  • Gently insert the bulb by slightly pushing up and turning it right.
  • Screw back the light bowl, this time in an anti-clockwise direction (left).
